College Updates: April 23, 2012

Most of our Manitoba NCAA student athletes were wrapping up their college tennis seasons this past weekend. Here are some updates on those that were able to pick up wins for their teams.

The St. Scholastica women's tennis team won its 100th consecutive
Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) dual match.

The St. Scholastica women's tennis team defeated Northwestern College 6-3, with Aleksandra (Ola) Ochrymowicz picking up a win in the No. 6 spot. The Cougars were later victorious over the University of Minnesota Morris, where Ola was able to shut out her opponent 6-0, 6-0. Read more...

The Robert Morris University women's tennis team participated in the 2012 Northeast Conference Tournament. Although the Colonials were not able to advance in the tournament, Clarissa Chen was able to pick up wins in the No. 2 doubles spot verus Sacred Heart and Saint Francis. Read more...

The CSU-Pueblo's Men's tennis team claimed fifth spot at RMAC Championship. Saul Shrom won at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-3. Read more...

Evann Waschuk pitched in with a win in the No. 1 doubles spot to help Bellarmine University women close out their 14-6 season with a  7-2 victory over Centre College. Read more...
